Update #1: Star Wars Battlefront is only three painstakingly long weeks away from coming to home consoles and PC. We’ve played the game for ourselves thanks to last month’s beta, but now have an epic new trailer to tide us over until the game’s launch.
Update #2: While the Star Wars Battlefront beta is over, we now know how much DLC for the game – map packs and emotes – are going to cost. EA unveiled a season pass that includes four map packs for $50 (around £32, AU$68).

While the original Star Wars Battlefront games had their fans, anticipation for the upcoming reboot has reached fever pitch. It’s a combination of factors; a new Star Wars movie is out later in the year, developer Dice has pedigree in this genre with Battlefield, and the latest generation of consoles are finally able to deliver the sort of visuals we’ve seen in the movies.
