The SteelSeries Sibera 840 has been one of our favorite wireless gaming headsets since it released over a year-and-a-half ago. While the company has since introduced new wireless gaming headsets, including the Arctis 7, it never felt on the same level of audio performance nor was it the same without the convenient transmitter base.
Thankfully, at long last, SteelSeries has introduced a true successor in the form of the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless. This gaming headset not only brings with it an updated look but also Hi-Res Certified audio – just like the regular Arctis Pro – for the best sounding wireless gaming headset. Now, if only it wasn’t also one of the most expensive PC gaming peripherals money can buy at $329 (about £240, AU$420).
Design
SteelSeries fully updated the look of its flagship wireless gaming headset to keep in line with the rest of the Arctis line. As such, the peripheral features the same oblong-shaped ear cups fitted with breathable air weave cushions, which makes wearing this headset for hours on end incredibly comfortable and sweat-free.
