Update: Thus far we’ve had no confirmation that Rockstar is even thinking about starting working on the sixth installment of the Grand Theft Auto franchise but a recent change on a motion capture actor’s resume has started the rumor mill off once again.
Discovered by NeoGaf, Tim Shell’s CV shows credits for both Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto 6. The CV has the same listing across two sites (Resumes Breakdown Express and iStunt). However there’s no guarantee that this listing isn’t simply a typo and even if it is accurate there’s no indication as to how much work Shell has done for the game or how long he’s been attached to it.
If it is a real listing, though, at the very least it indicates that production of Grand Theft Auto 6 has reached the point of casting stunt actors for motion capture.
