Just in time for the winter holidays, Sony has announced a slight, but appreciated, price cut to the PS4. But, there’s a catch: it’s only happening in North America.
If you’re in the US or Canada, and looking to buy into the PlayStation family, you’ll be able to do just that for $349.99 (CAD $429.99), a $50 discount from the $399.99 (CAD $449.99) price point that the console launched with two years ago.
It’s not just the base model that’s received a reduction in price, the bundles have, too. For example, the bundle including Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will retail for $349.99 (CAD $429.99), In this case, the game is a freebie. The upcoming bundle including Star Wars Battlefront and a limited edition console design will be available at $399.99 (CAD $469.99), which is the now-old price you would have had to pony up for the standard PS4 unit. The list of bundles goes on, with the titles included spanning Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Disney Infinity 3.0 and NHL 16. You can check the rest of them out here.
