After spending years in development hell, Beyond Good and Evil 2 re-emerged in spectacular fashion at Ubisoft’s press conference at E3 2017 with a brand new trailer.
Starting with a scene in a dystopian steam-punk city, the trailer showed off a meeting between a talking pig and ape before transitioning to a hover-bike chase scene.
It’s been a long journey to get to this point. Beyond Good and Evil 2 was first announced almost a decade ago, and has seemingly been in development ever since, with its first trailer released nine years ago.
The first game was released on the PS2, Xbox and Gamecube back in 2003.
The game will see you fight alongside a band of rebels taking the fight to an evil corporation within the game’s universe, and will feature an online multiplayer mode.
Ubisoft announced that the game will have an upcoming beta that will shape the development of the game, with signups open now.
