It’s not long until the Xbox One X launches in November and brings true 4K gaming to your living room.
Though new consoles usually suffer from a frustratingly short catalog of launch titles, this one won’t. For the Xbox One X, Microsoft has decided to upgrade some of its biggest first-party titles with free 4K patches, so you can play some of your favorite Xbox One exclusives in stunning 4K resolution.
Two of the games that have been confirmed to be receiving these free patches are Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4. Sadly, while the 4K patches will be free, to get them you’ll have to buy the games first. And games certainly aren’t free.
