Best Nintendo DS Games
Two screens? On a handheld? The form-factor of the original Nintendo DS might seem obvious now, but at the time it seemed like a strange move from Nintendo, who had spend twenty years making games designed to be played on a single screen.
But after developers got the hang of designing games for two screens it soon became obvious what Nintendo had intended with the design decision that had initially seemed so left field.
What resulted were some incredibly innovative games which ranged from delightful small puzzle games to epic RPGs that used the second screen to really let players wrap their heads around the genre’s plentiful menus.
Nintendo might have since moved on to supporting the Nintendo 3DS, but with the handheld offering full backwards compatibility with its predecessor you’ve got no excuse for not checking out some of the best games on the Nintendo DS.
